B. Future Planning Cases
IVo action required.
COMMUN I CAT I QlVS
There were none.
REFERRALS
There were none.
MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION
------------------------------------
Chairman Michelotti noted that the Regis Apartment Complex has a
number of American and Calif ornia flags up and felt this was
unsightly. Mr. Swift stated that they have been talked to and
they agreed to take them down, but that it will be checked
again,
Commissioner Tarver stated that he had received a report
regarding traffic metering on interchanges. He was unclear what
the effect was. Mr. Swift summarized the report for him.
The Commission briefly discussed as to whether there should be a
time limit on public hearings. They expressed concern that if a
limit was imposed that many people in the audience would wait
for hours and still not be able to give input. They wondered if
staff could put a limit to the number of cases for any given
agenda. Mr. Swift responded that could be done to a point. He
said items could be continued if the hour ran late. It was
discussed as to the feasibility of limiting the Design Review
agenda to four items; the Planning Commission to eight items.
It was also suggested they try a numercial system for about six
months. They discussed whether it would be feasible to have
special meetings for City applications. Mr. Swift said that
would mean more meetings.
ADJOURNMENT
The Planning Commission was adjourned
Micheletti.
Respectfully submitted,
~~,~
~Y
~..,
Brian 5wif t
Secretary
at iCy:2Cypm by Chairman
Page lCy
