The motion was made and carried to support the request of the <br />Soroptimist and described in their letter. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, Mahern, Tarver, and <br />Chairperson Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-88-96 was entered and adopted approving the <br />request of the Soroptimist as requested. <br />Report regarding status of right turn lane for Bernal Avenue/Koll <br />Center Drive and I-680 on-ramp. <br />Mr. Elliott presented a slide presentation depicting the various <br />aspects of Bernal/Valley Avenue relating to the right turn lane. <br />Mr. Van Gelder said he went out to the site with Paul Helms of <br />the Police Department. Mr. Van Gelder presented several options <br />for the intersection and stated that the City will stripe this <br />intersection like it is striped at Fair time when the street is <br />annexed into the City. <br />Chairperson Michelotti reminded the Commissioners of the <br />continued work session to be held August 24, 1988. <br />REFERRALS <br />There were none. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 10, 1988 was adjourned <br />at 1:30am by Chairperson Michelotti. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~. <br />Brian W.
