The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Berger thanked Mr. Callahan for presenting the model
for review.
Chairman Michelotti commented that it will be nice to have the
Herald back in Pleasanton.
Commissioner Tarver stated that the proposal is a very nice
building itself but can't support the application because of the
same reasons he couldn't support Hacienda structures before,
namely; the infrastructure should be in place first.
Commissioner Mahren expressed concerns with traffic, however,
felt her concerns were alleviated given the shifts of the
newspaper operation.
Commissioner Hovingh stated that the design is nice but that he
would like the traffic in and out to be monitored and preferred
that the traffic go north on Hopyard. Chairman Michelotti
pointed out that all interior streets in Hacienda Business Park
are supposed to be used. They are set up on computers to get a
better traffic flow. Chairman Michelotti also stated that light
industrial is a lower traffic user than office.
A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by Chairman
Michelotti that Case PUD-81-30-44D be recommended for approval
subject to the conditions of the staff report.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners
Michelotti
NOES: Commissioner
ABSENT: Commissioner
ABSTAIN: None
Berger, Hovingh, Mahern, and Chairman
Tarver
Hoyt
Resolution No. PC-88-93 was entered and adopted recommending
approval of Case PUD-81-30-44D as motioned.
PUD-87-4-2M JL Construction/Matteson
Application of JL Construction Company and Duncan Matteson for a
major modification to an approved development plan for a 244-unit
residential complex to modify the mix of the unit composition and
to modify the private recreation area facilities to be located on
an approximately 23 acre site located at 11020 Old Dublin Canyon
Road.
