MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, August 10, 1988 <br />8:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 10, 1988 was called to <br />order at 9:OOpm by Chairperson Sharrell Michelotti. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioner Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Joyce Berger, Jack Hovingh, <br />Marcelline Mahern, Ben Tarver, and <br />Sharrell Michelotti, Chairperson <br />Brian Hoyt <br />Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Tom Quaglia, <br />Senior Planner; Joseph Elliott, Director <br />of Public Works and Engineering; <br />Bill Van Gelder, Traffic Engineer; <br />Jim Balch, Police Sergeant; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />The Minutes of July 13, 1988 Planning Commission and Design <br />Review Board meetings were unanimously approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Swift asked that the following changes to the agenda be <br />made: <br />Addendum to the Planning Commission adding Item 7(c), <br />"Soroptimist International of Pleasanton, Inc. "Stepping <br />Out;" <br />add the following from the Design Review Board Agenda as the <br />property is located within the Civic Overlay District: <br />-1- <br />
