Memo to Robin Giffin
May 24, 2006
• Land Use - GGC will update this section to reflect project conformance with current land
use policies and guidelines.
^ Aesthetics (including visual simulations) -William Kanemoto & Associates will review
the visual simulations and impact assessment to ensure that these reflect project area
characteristics. Adjustments will be made as needed. The discussion of visual impacts
will be revised to include the conclusions of the cumulative analysis.
^ Biological Resources -Wood Biological will update this section to reflect conclusions of
cumulative study.
^ Geology -This section needs to be updated with new geotechnical information to be
provided by the applicant. Need the updated geotechnical report from the applicant and
peer review from City.
^ Noise -Measurements were completed in December 2003 and are outdated due to
completion of the Summerhill residential development located west of the project. New
noise measurements will need to be collected. When traffic volumes are received for
local neighborhood streets affected by the project, changes in noise levels along these
streets will need to be estimated. Need Dowling's traffic study to complete this section.
^ Air quality -Needs to be updated with current air quality monitoring data, standards,
and regulations. When traffic volumes are received for local neighborhood streets
affected by the project, changes in localized carbon monoxide emissions will be
estimated. Need Dowling's traffic study to complete this section.
^ Wildland Fire Hazards -Carol Rice (Wildland Resource Management, Inc.) will review
and update this section to address changes in policies and requirements for vegetation
management and control of Wildland fire hazards.
Current budget status and costs associated with these tasks are outlined in the attached
spreadsheet.
