"" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />~'L£~S~NTON® <br />April 3, 2007 <br />City Manager <br />TITLE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF CITY REPRESENTATIVE TO TV30 <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />SUMMARY <br />The TV30 Board of Directors is comprised of one City appointed representative from <br />each of the four Tri-Valley cities and three at-large representatives. Through a desire to <br />foster stronger communication between the TV30 organization and the respective City <br />Councils, the Cities of Dublin and Livermore have each recently appointed the mayor to <br />serve as the City representative. The City of San Ramon will be appointing its mayor to <br />serve as the city representative when the term of its current City appointed <br />representative expires in April. Pleasanton would be best represented by also having an <br />elected official, in particular the mayor, serve on the TV30 Board. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the mayor be appointed to the TV30 Board of Directors, replacing the <br />current City of Pleasanton representative. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact. <br />
