EXHIBIT D: COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The CITY shall compensate the CONSULTANT for the Scope of Services provided, in accordance with <br />the contract for CONSULTANT Services. <br /> <br />1.0 <br /> <br />1.1 <br /> <br />PAYMENTS TO THE CONSULTANT <br /> <br /> Payments for Basic Services, Additional Services and Reimbursable Expenses shall be <br />made monthly and in proportion to services performed and expenses incurred as determined <br />by Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br /> The CITY agrees to pay the CONSULTANT within thirty (30) calendar days of the CITY's <br />receipt of the CONSULTANT's invoice. <br /> <br />2.0 <br /> <br />2.1 <br /> <br />2.1.1. <br /> <br />BASIC COMPENSATION <br /> <br /> For Basic Services, as described in Exhibit C, basic compensation shall be computed <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> For Basic Services described in Paragraphs 2.1 through 2.3.2, excluding the services <br />described in Paragraphs 2.1.4 and 2.2.7 and other services aSSOCiated with furniture selection <br />and specification, compensation shall be a fixed fee of Two Hundred Sixty-One Thousand, Four <br />Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($261,425.00). <br /> <br /> Progress payments for Basic Services in each phase shall total the following portions <br />of the total Basic Compensation billable: <br /> <br />Design Development Phase <br />Construction Documents Phase <br />Bidding <br />Total <br /> <br />$ 61,850 <br />$189,425 <br />~ 10.150 <br />$261,425 <br /> <br />2.1.2 <br /> <br /> For Basic Services described in Paragraphs 2.4 through 2.4.19, except for services <br />associated with furniture selection, compensation shall be a stipulated sum of One Hundred <br />Forty Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($140,450.00). Consl~'uction Phase services and <br />Compensation may be deleted from this contract by the CITY by notifying the CONSULTANT in <br />writing. The CONSULTANT and the CITY agree to renegotlate the Compensation for the <br />Construction Phase services if the CITY hires a Construction Management firm to assist the <br />CITY during construction and the Scope of the Construction Management firm's services is <br />such that it changes the CONSULTANT's services. <br /> <br />D1 <br /> <br /> <br />
