Alhtnwnt Scltlcment Agreement J February 12, 2007 <br />education Advisor} Board <br />2007/2008 Expenditure Plan <br />Constraints <br />u Teachers and others involved in environmental education <br />are very busy and may not respond to grant solicitations. <br />^ Other funding agencies, such as the Alameda County <br />Waste Management Authority and Source Reduction and <br />Recycling Board may have differing priorities that <br />dominate the program offerings. <br />^ The Education Account has limited tunds that must he <br />stretched over a large service area. <br />Proposed Allocations <br />Mini-grants* $20,000 <br />Project grants (annual and multiple-year) $230,000 <br />Board initiated projects $50,000 <br />ALARM mitigation projects $10,000 <br />Fund administration $15,000 <br />TOTAL $325,000 <br />*Additional mini-grant funds that were unexpended from the <br />2006-2007grant year will be applied to the 2007-2008grant <br />year. <br />Page 2 <br />
