The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will perform a preliminary <br />review of the shop drawing submittals and confirm that they comply <br />with the overall format requirements of SECTION O l 340 of the <br />CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS and that a suftlcient quantity of <br />submittal copies has been supplied. The CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGER will only pass a shop drawing submittal on to Garber <br />Engineering if it meets these requirements. <br />C. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will give Garber Engineering <br />at least two (2) copies of any shop drawing submittal if Garber <br />Engineering does not need to have one of its subconsultants <br />(electrical or structural) review the shop drawing submittal and at <br />least three (3) copies if one of Garber Engineering's subconsultants <br />(electrical or structural) must review the shop drawing submittal. <br />Garber Engineering will return at least one copy. <br />D. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will forward to Garber <br />Engineering all comments by other reviewers (not including Garber <br />Engineering's subconsultants) and will inform Garber Engineering <br />when no more comments from others are expected. <br />E. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will distribute the submittals, <br />follow up with parties besides Garber Engineering who are to <br />review the shop drawing submittals and forward the comments by <br />others to Garber Engineering in a timely manner. Garber <br />Engineering will not be responsible for delays caused by others (not <br />including Garber Engineering's subconsultants). <br />F. The shop drawing submittals themselves will be in accordance with <br />SECTION 01340 of the CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS. <br />G. The number of shop drawing submittals addressing new topics will <br />be no more than the number of shop drawing submittal topics listed <br />in PARAGRAPH 01340 1.10 D ofthe CONTRACT <br />SPECIFICATIONS. <br />H. The total number of shop drawing submittal events reaching Garber <br />Engineering (including resubmittals) will not exceed the number of <br />discrete submittal topics actually submitted times two (2).
