Requiring contractor to schedule adequate time for testing. <br />'tTM Obtaining sign-offs from permit agencies or regulatory agencies as soon as applicable portions of the <br />work are completed. <br />~ Requiring the contractor to submit detailed start-up and testing plans at the beginning of the project. <br />Reviewing contractor's record drawings each pay period to verify that the drawings are being kept up- <br />to-date. <br />~ Requiring the contractor to submit O&M Manuals during the shop drawing submittal phase, rather <br />than at end of the project. <br />~ Keeping all parties involved in the project informed throughout the construction process. <br />Coordination <br />Construction coordination will be greatly simplified attd more efficient by <br />having ow Construction Manager indirect contact with all parties involved <br />the project. In addition, ow Resident Inspector will be in daily contact <br />with the Construction Manager, keeping him informed on the day's <br />progress. Thus, ow Construction Manager will be able to anticipate issues <br />that may arise and present solutions to the City. In addmon, the <br />Construction Management Team will actively coordinate with the local community. Ow daily <br />involvement in constmction observation, testing, progress meetings, schedule tracking, submittal reviews, <br />response to contractor inquires, and problem solving efforts will enswe that the project is kept on schedule <br />and budget. <br />Should a problem arise during construction of the project, Tetra Tech will give such issue immediate and <br />highest priority attention. Ow Construction Manager will inform the City of the situation and all pertinent <br />facts. The problem will be reviewed with ow team members; possible solutions deveioped, and <br />resolutions presented to the City for action. <br />Resident Inspector <br />Our Resident Inspector will be on-site for the dwation of the project. He will oversee and enswe that all <br />work, materials and equipment installed comply with the contract documents and approved submittals. He <br />will monitor the contractor's activities at the job site and make necessary plant inspections for equipment <br />and materials. He will also assist with coordinating issues with the community and affected agencies <br />involved in the project. His responsibilities will also include keeping daily records and documenting <br />construction activities throughout the dwation of the project. <br />Monthly Project Reports <br />Monthly project reports will be prepared throughout construction of the project.
