CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-110 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH FINDINGS AND GRANTING TENTATIVE CANCELLATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE CONTRACT 1975-7 (Garms Ranch) WHEREAS, a request and petition for cancellation of Agricultural Preserve Contract 1975-7 was filed with the city of Pleasanton on behalf of the owner of the property, which property is more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the property involved is all within the city limits of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was called and duly noticed for this date, as provided under Government Code §51284; and WHEREAS, the city Council has reviewed and considered the Environmental Impact Report for the Garms Ranch Project which analyzed the environmental effects of the proposed Garms Ranch PUD residential project and the loss of agricultural lands, which document is incorporated herein by this reference, and that, therefore, no additional environmental review is required; and WHEREAS, the City Council makes the following findings: 1. By request and petition the owner of the property requested cancellation of Agricultural Preserve Contract 1975-7. This letter petition is incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth. 2. The City Council has reviewed and considered the Environmental Impact Report for the Garms Ranch Project, which analyzed the environmental effects of the proposed Garms Ranch PUD residential project and loss of agricultural lands, and has determined that the effects of the loss of such lands was adequately addressed in said document, which is incorporated herein by this reference, and, therefore, no additional environmental review is required. 3. The property involved is all within the city limits of the city of Pleasanton. 4. Public notice has been provided as required by Government Code §51284.
