CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 90-110 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH FINDINGS AND GRANTING <br /> <br />TENTATIVE CANCELLATION OF AGRICULTURAL <br /> <br />PRESERVE CONTRACT 1975-7 (Garms Ranch) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a request and petition for cancellation of <br />Agricultural Preserve Contract 1975-7 was filed with the city of <br />Pleasanton on behalf of the owner of the property, which property <br />is more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property involved is all within the city limits <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was called and duly noticed for <br />this date, as provided under Government Code §51284; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council has reviewed and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Garms Ranch Project which <br />analyzed the environmental effects of the proposed Garms Ranch <br />PUD residential project and the loss of agricultural lands, which <br />document is incorporated herein by this reference, and that, <br />therefore, no additional environmental review is required; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council makes the following findings: <br /> <br />1. By request and petition the owner of the property <br />requested cancellation of Agricultural Preserve Contract <br />1975-7. This letter petition is incorporated herein by <br />reference as though fully set forth. <br /> <br />2. The City Council has reviewed and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Garms Ranch Project, <br />which analyzed the environmental effects of the proposed <br />Garms Ranch PUD residential project and loss of agricultural <br />lands, and has determined that the effects of the loss of <br />such lands was adequately addressed in said document, which <br />is incorporated herein by this reference, and, therefore, no <br />additional environmental review is required. <br /> <br />3. The property involved is all within the city limits of <br />the city of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />4. Public notice has been provided as required by <br />Government Code §51284.
