WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-69 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLANAMENDMENT (GP-90-1) AND THEAPPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVALFILEDUNDER CASES PUD-81-30-23MAND PUD-81-30-50D at its meeting of March 20, 1990, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan of an approximately 12.46 acre site located at the southwest corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Stoneridge Drive from "Industrial, Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential;" and an application for rezoning the above site from PUD-I/C-O District to the PUD-HDR District; and an application for development plan approval to construct 153 multi-family residential units and associated parking, driveway, and landscape improvements on the above site; and the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 6, 1990 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan Amendment, rezoning and development plan; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and the city Council finds that the proposed General Plan A/~endment, rezoning and development plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment;
