Storm water pre-
treatment will be implemented by constructed bio-retention areas then entering the storm system,
Site drainage will not cause significant environmental effects. Therefore, this would be a less-
than-significant-impact.

17. ("Cumula-
tively considerable" means that the incremental effects
of a project are considerable when viewed in connec-
tion with the effects of past projects, the effects of
other current projects, and the effects of probable fu-
ture projects)?

c) Does the project have environmental effects, which
will cause substantial adverse effects on human beings,
either directly or indirectly?

Discussion

Potentially
Signitlc(Ult
Impact

Less Than
Significant
With Mitigation
Incorporated

No
Impact

I.css Than
Signific,mt
Impact

D

D

[KJ

D

D

D

o

D

D

[K]

D

D

The proposed project is a commercial center on an intill property in an existing business park sur-
rounded by business park uses, The subject property is zoned PUD-C (Planned Unit Development -
Commercial) District. This development is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan land use desig-
nations. The project will not include any activities or uses causing substantial adverse effects on human
beings either directly or indirectly or on the environment. The project has been designed to meet the
general development standards required by the City of Pleasanton and will incorporate conditions of ap-
proval to meet local codes and regulations, The project design and conditions of approval reduces po-
tential impacts to a less-than-significant-with-mitigation-incorporated, less-than-significant-impact,
or no-impact.

Pleasanton Gateway Initial Study

November 8, 2006
