This ambient
noise level is considered to be "Normally Acceptable" for Office Buildings, Business Commer-
cial, and Professional land uses by the Pleasanton General Plan.

As a result of project construction, there will be a temporary increase in noise due to construction
activities, However, the hours of construction will be limited to minimize any impact to sur-
rounding land uses. Therefore, this would be a less-than-significant-impact.

e-t) The subject site is not located within the Livermore Airport Master Plan nor within the proxi-
mate vicinity of a private airstrip. The subject development will not expose people to excessive
noise levels due to aircraft activities. Therefore, this would be categorized as no-impact.

Pleasanton Gateway Initial Study

November 8, 2006
