Mining has <br />not occurred on the project site, and implementation of the project would not affect the availabil- <br />ity of any mineral resource. Therefore, this would be categorized as no-impact. <br /> <br />11. NOISE <br /> <br />Environmental Setting <br /> <br />External noise sources that could affect the site include over flights to/from the Livermore Airport, traf- <br />fic noisc from Stanlcy Boulevard and adjacent strcets, and thc operations of the Union Pacific Railroad <br />including the Alameda County Express commuter train. <br /> <br />Noise emanating from thc site are expected to fall within the acceptablc levels identified in thc noise or- <br />dinance, <br /> <br />Standards of Significance <br /> <br />For purposes of this environmental document, an impact is considered significant if the proposed project <br />would: <br /> <br />· Result in exterior noise levels above the acceptable level of 70 dBA; <br />· Result in interior noise levels exceeding 45 dBA; <br />· Result in construction noise levels that do no meet the City of Pleasanton Noise Ordinance. <br /> <br />Pleasanton Gateway Initial Study <br /> <br />Page 28 of 37 <br /> <br />November 8, 2006 <br />
