ATTACHMENT 1 <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />FOR PREPARATION OF THE CITY'S LOCAL SEWER USER FEE <br />MODEL, ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 7`~ day of February <br />2007, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation <br />("City"), and HDR Engineering, Inc. whose address is 500 108`h Avenue NE, <br />Suite 1200, Bellevue, Washington 98004-5549 and telephone number is (425) <br />450-6200 ("Consultant"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing, <br />utility user fee models, analysis and recommendation services and has offered its <br />services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br />B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ <br />the services of Consultant for the purposes provided herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as <br />follows: <br />1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the <br />services and furnish the materials, reports, drawings, and related materials as <br />hereinafter set forth: <br />a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A", <br />Scope of Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference. <br />b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the City, <br />other pertinent agencies, and/or landowners as necessary to <br />complete the scope of work outlined in Section 1 (a) above. <br />Page 1 <br />
