This <br />proposal is based on our meeting with you and Lisa Hagcpian on September 20 and the associated <br />irrigation drawings that I received, and the general intent is to develop landscape design plans and <br />documents within the existing street medians along Wes Las Positas Boulevard, between Santa Rita <br />Road and Boardwalk Street. This design is to include the following elements: <br />• Designation of existing improvements for demolition or preservation. <br />• Paved or unplanted areas, to allow for access, maintenance and general reduction in the quantity <br />of planted and irrigated areas. <br />• Irrigation and planting, including tree protection, soil preparation and maintenance. <br />Services not included in this proposal are: <br />• Land Surveying of existing conditions <br />• Storm water pollution prevention plans <br />• Construction administration phase services <br />1. SERVICES <br />PHASE I: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT <br />A. SITE RECONNAISSANCE: <br />We will investigate the site to understand the existing conditions. We will review existing <br />plans that depict the proposed areas of improvement and compare them will the actual <br />conditions. We will field measure the approximate locations of existing vegetation, utilities <br />and street light standards. <br />B. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT: <br />We will develop schematic sketch plans t~ show basic design concepts for discussion <br />with you. Upon receiving your comments on the sketch plans, we will prepare a draft <br />Master Plan and meet with you again to finalize the design. If necessary, we will prepare <br />and submit a final Master Plan to you to co lfirm the final design. <br />PHASE II: CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />We will prepare and submit construction documents at a maximum of two (2) stages of <br />completion (at 75% and 100%). We will format the documents into separate bid packages <br />(approximately three bid packages) in order to issue them at different times, as funding is made <br />available. Construction Documents will include the following products: <br />C. EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DEMOLITION PLAN: <br />We will locate all existing site objects and items to be relocated, salvaged or demolished. <br />
