4. Intersection 323 Santa Rita Road @ Pimlico/ 1-580 EB off ramp

Existing LOS is C in AM and C in PM.
Buildout LOS is D in AM and F in PM.

The mitigation identified in the Preferred Circulation Network is to eliminate the south
crosswalk, this mitigation does not return the intersection to an acceptable level of service
and would eliminate the only east west crossing at the intersection.

The alternate mitigation necessary to return this intersection to level of service requires
the addition of a second southbound left turn lane. This mitigation, however, does not
appear to fit within the existing width of the overpass. The improvement in all likelihood
would require overpass widening.

5. Intersection 329 Santa Rita @ Valley

Existing LOS is D in AM and E in PM.
Buildout LOS is D in AM and F in PM.

This intersection currently operates at LOS D in the AM and LOS E in the PM. The
working draft circulation network did not identify any improvements to this intersection.

Additional mitigation of adding a second WBL T lane would improve the intersection
operation, with the AM LOS remaining at D and the PM LOS improving to E. A triple
SBL T would provide the intersection with a LOS D in both the AM and PM.

6. Intersection 348 Stoneridge @ Johnson

Existing LOS is B in AM and C in PM.
Buildout LOS is B in AM and F in PM.

No mitigations were identified in the working draft circulation network. Additional
mitigations are necessary at this intersection to maintain an acceptable level of service.

The westbound volume requires a 4th through lane to return the intersection to an
acceptable level of service. This can be accomplished by changing the WBRT only lane
into a through+right lane and modifying the striping on the far side of the intersection to
accommodate 4 through lanes. This new through lane would only have access to 1-580
northbound.

This mitigation keeps the AM LOS B and improves the PM to LOS D.
