[JIJThe following changes to Policy 23 and an additional Policy 23.4, could be <br />added to address this, as follows: <br />Policy 23: Promote the installation of public art and its enioyment by the public. <br />Program 23.4: Showcase the Citv's public art collection on an occasional basis. <br />Regarding Public Art, information about the location of public art installations is <br />available in the City's Civic Arts Season brochures published annually. The <br />following program could be added to make this information more useful and widely <br />available. <br />Policy 23.5.• Map the location ofpublic art in the City and make this information <br />widely available. <br />23. What are we doing with the works of our Poet Laureates? Do we purchase any of it and <br />where is it housed? <br />[JIJThe works of the Poets Laureate are available through the library. If the City <br />Council wished to consider a more permanent, public commemoration of their work <br />it could consider the following program under Policy 25: Construct a permanent <br />installation showcasing the work of the City's Poets Laureate. <br />
