General standards for development on hillsides, regardless of location, should be <br />considered as complementary to standards for specific areas such as the Vineyard :\ venue Corridor <br />A-Fefr. <br /> <br />New commercial development and the renontion of existing commercial properties has the potential <br />for substantially influencing community character in both positi.re and negati'.e ,\ ap. Current rc. iew <br />and appro. al of project designs relics heavily upon precedent, and changes to duelopment and sigtlage <br />proposals arc more difficult to achieve after property 0,,,ncr3 have ill. ested considerable time and <br />money into prokssional fces and processing.
