General Summary of Uses . The Parish Center will be most heavily used during the faU, winter and spring. The summer months will see little activity except for Sunday Morning Nursery, occasional receptions after funerals, and occasional small meetings in the Meeting Rooms. The building will be locked when no event or program is scheduled. A staff member or parent will be at all events and programs. *There are currently 4 to 8 staff members on-site during the week. No new staff will be added for the Parish Center. All users will access the Parish Center from the church/parking lot side and not the Rheem Drive side. The doors that face Rheem Drive are for code required exiting and will be locked from the exterior for security. No outdoor activities are planned except that a patio is located next to the main conference room near the comer of Stoneridge Drive and Rheem Drive. It will be used several times per year as an outdoor break or refreshment area in support of scheduled events in the Conference Room. No outside basketball practice. No major events will be simultaneous in the church and the parish center. Therefore, parking demand will not increase since the church services, not the parish center, create the greatest parking demand. *The church religious services are Sunday 9:00 AM, I I :00 AM, 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM with 200 to 835 people. The Sunday 6:30 PM service is the most heavily used. Daily religious services are held at 12:10 PM weekdays with approx. 50 people. The duration of all services is 45 minutes to I hour 15 minutes. The services are held in the church that has an occupancy of 835 fixed pews for congregates and 2 staff. Small services of 50 or less are held in the chapel. *The Chapel connected to the Church has many uses. It is used for small weddings and funerals. **It is used for religious education classes and medium sized meetings and speaker series throughout the week and weekend that will move to the Parish Center. CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Basketball Program has 55 teams currently renting spaces all over the Pleasanton area. Some of these teams will use the parish center from October through February. . . . . . . . . .
