<br />Attachment 2 <br /> <br />Survey - Ordinances Regarding Smoking in Parks <br /> <br />City of Concord: City generally refers to State Law. <br />. Municipal Code Section 38-34. Regulation of smoking in enclosed places. <br />o (9) - Sports arenas, both indoor and outdoor, and convention halls, except in outdoor <br />sports arenas, designated smoking areas may be provided which shall be segregated from <br />nonsmoking areas. <br /> <br />City of Dublin <br />. Ordinance No. 18-02 prohibits smoking in "children's play areas". <br /> <br />City of Fremont <br />. Municipal Code 4-6106. Where smoking not regulated. <br />(a) Notwithstanding any provisions of sections 4-6104 through 4-6105 to the contrary, the <br />following areas shall not be subject to the smoking restrictions of this chapter: <br />o (6) Outdoor areas a reasonable distance from any area designated nonsmoking under this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />City of Newark <br />. Municipal Code 8.32.025. Smoking is prohibited in the following places: <br />o (F) Outdoor areas that are not separate by a reasonable distance from any entrance or <br />exist to a place where smoking is prohibited. <br />. Smoking shall be prohibited in the following <br />places within the city: <br />o A.8. Public schools (including outdoor athletic fields, swimming pools and playgrounds) <br />and other public facilities under the control of another public agency, which are available <br />to and are customarily used by the general public, to the extent that the same are subject <br />to the jurisdiction of the city. <br />
