The creation of a 4-hour parking zone has been effective in other areas of town to provide
short-term usage for the residents, but restrict any long-term usage including the parking of
vehicles for sale.

FISCAL IMPACT

This four hour parking zone requires the installation of 4-hour parking signs at a cost of
$200.00 and an annual maintenance cost of approximately $50 per year. It would also
require enforcement by the Pleasanton Police Department.

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the attached ordinance establishing a four-hour limited time parking
zone be adopted by the City Council to designate Via De Los Milagros from Valley Avenue
to Via Del Cielo/Corte Mente as a four-hour limited term parking zone.

Respectfully Submitted,

Uw~-

~~L~

David P.
