RESOLUTION NO. 06-079 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE REPORT AND ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE PLEASANTON DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION ADVISORY BOARD AND LEVYING THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR 2007 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District, the purposes and boundaries of which are set forth in Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore appointed a Pleasanton Advisory Board for the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District; and WHEREAS, said Advisory Board has prepared a report for 2007, which is on file with the City Clerk, which report satisfies the statutory requirements of Streets and Highways Code, ~36533 and which report is attached to this resolution; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held as provided in section 36534 of the Streets and Highway Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The report and the annual budget of the Advisory Board are approved and the assessment is levied for 2007. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of December, 2006.
