Amending <br />these two conditions will not jeopardize the <br />character and safety of the neighborhood. <br />C. That the proposed location of the home occupation <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare, or materially injurious <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />Allowing more than 50 sq. ft. to be used in the <br />accessory structure because the space does not <br />facilitate a greater volume of business, as well as <br />allowing commercial deliveries to the home <br />occupancy, allowing no more than 1.5 deliveries per <br />day, in passenger vehicles not bearing commercial <br />signage, will not disrupt the neighborhood <br />character or threaten the public health and <br />safety . <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that projects of the <br />nature described in this resolution are exempt from the <br />requirements of CEQA. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves the appeal of Diane Moirao (AP-89-16) and <br />allowing the applicant to conduct a seamstress business <br />in her home located at 315 East Angela Street subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the home occupation utilize no more than 132 <br />sq. ft. of the accessory structure. <br />2. Deliveries and pick up of materials by the <br />contracting services shall be made at a frequency <br />of no more than eight times a week in unmarked <br />passenger vehicles between the hours of 9:OOam and <br />3:OOpm. <br />3. That if any complaints against the business are <br />filed, staff will review the situation and <br />recommend the appropriate action. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />15 days after its passage and adoption. <br />
