Resolution No, PC-89-75 Page 2 The proposed school facility would occupy the same area as the previous nursery school, hence it is not a new use for the area. Parking for the facility is adequate, and circulation should be controlled well enough not to create a conflict; and WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of CEQA. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section l: Approves Case UP-89-43, the application of Carden- West School for a conditional use permit to operate a kindergarten through third grade elementary school with extended daycare facility within an existing building located at 4444 Black Avenue subject to the following conditions: 1. That the school shall accommodate a maximum of 75 children and that school activities be carried out in the existing fenced play yard and the existing school building. If, as the school develops, an increased area is desired for the school, a new conditional use permit must be requested and approved prior to expansion. 2. That the operator of the school secure all state and county licenses and certificates required for the operation of an elementary school. 3. That the hours of operation of the school shall be 6:45am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday only. 4. That the applicant shall design a new circulation plan for approval by the Planning Department if circulation becomes a hazard to pedestrians or other vehicles. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption.
