PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-68 RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM FOR RETAIL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-89-340 (PROJECT PUD-85-8-4D) WHEREAS, Retail Property Development Company has applied for design review approval for a comprehensive signing program for a proposed retail commercial complex to be located on an approximately 3.2-acre site located on the .north side of Owens Drive approximately 400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot Drive and Owens Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 14, 1989, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the individual tenant, site entry signs, and freeway-oriented project identification sign are appropriate for the site. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the application of Retail Property Development Company for design review approval for a comprehensive signing program for a proposed retail commercial complex to be located on an approximately 3.2-acre site located on the north side of Owens Drive approximately 400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot and Owens Drive subject to the following conditions: 1. That the sign program shall substantially conform to the sign criteria and plans and elevations dated March 21, 1989 on file with the~Planning Department, except as modified herein. 2. That there shall be no tenant or project identification signage on the rear elevations of either building in the complex. 3. That the colors to be utilized for fascia of the channel letters of the sign program shall be submitted to the Planning Director for review and
