That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety or welfare, or materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvement sin the <br />vicinity. <br />The proposed gymnastics school facility will not <br />have an adverse impact on surrounding properties <br />due to the small scale of the use and performance <br />standards included as conditions of approval. <br />Also, adequate parking is available to prevent <br />encroachment onto neighboring tenants and <br />properties. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the zoning <br />ordinance. <br />That the proposed conditional use complies with all <br />applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, <br />Chapter 18 of the Municipal Code, regarding <br />parking, loading, and noise levels; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that conditional use <br />permits for minor land use regulations are exempt from <br />the requirements of CEQA (the California Environmental <br />Quality Act). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-89-29, the application of B & B <br />Gymnastics for a conditional use permit to operate a <br />private recreation facility for children gymnastics <br />instruction to be located at 1249 within an existing <br />light industrial building subject to the conditions <br />shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />15 days after its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 24TH DAY OF MAY 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Horan, Hovingh, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
