Resolution No. PC-90-98 <br />Page 2 <br />As conditioned, the operation of the automobile <br />rental company would not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety, or welfare. The servicing <br />and maintenance of the vehicles would be completed <br />at an approved automobile facility equipped for the <br />handling of hazardous materials. <br />The limitation of the number of rental automobiles <br />that may be stored on the project site will ensure <br />there will be no adverse impacts on the circulation <br />elements on and adjacent to the project site. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />As proposed and conditioned, each applicable <br />provision will be satisfied; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed use is consistent with the zoning <br />designation and General Plan policies of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-90-45, the application of <br />Cornelius J. Doherty for a conditional use permit to <br />allow an auto rental business in an existing commercial <br />service complex located at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road, <br />Suite "B" subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2.
