applicant will provide an additional parking space <br />for any future residents of the secondary unit. <br />3) Loss of privacy/setbacks/architectural <br />integration: The proposed exterior alterations do <br />not include the addition of any windows which might <br />compromise the privacy of the adjacent neighbors. <br />No new windows are proposed on the northern and <br />southern elevations (sides) of the house. <br />4) Increased sewer and water demands: There will <br />be little impact on the existing sewer and utility <br />system if the proposed secondary unit is added. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the zoning <br />ordinance. <br />As proposed and conditioned, each applicable <br />provision will be satisfied; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found this proposal meets the <br />State requirements and the Zoning requirements, and will <br />not increase the burden on the infrastructure in an <br />established neighborhood. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-90-30, the application of Diane <br />Meier for a conditional use permit to allow the addition <br />of an approximately 590 sq. ft. secondary unit to an <br />existing single-family home located at 4041 Jackie Court <br />subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2.
