<br />"' <br /> <br /> <br />41 <br /> <br />\.. <br /> <br />pLEASANTONo <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />December 19, 2006 <br />Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br />STONERIDGE DRIVE WATER PIPELINE, PROJECT NO. 031016 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of December 19, 2006: <br /> <br />1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the <br />subject project. <br /> <br />3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $34,786.13 to <br />McGuire and Hester thirty days after fIling the Notice of <br />Completion. <br /> <br />4. Authorize final payment to McGuire and Hester Inc. in the amount <br />of $36,901.13. <br /> <br />5. Authorize the transfer of $49,083 from the subject project funds to <br />reimburse the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) for <br />construction of a portion of the water pipeline in Johnson Court. <br /> <br />6. Authorize transfer of remaining project balance in the amount of <br />$107,381.89 to the Annual Water Replacement Project. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The subject project consisted of installing a 16" ductile iron water pipe in <br />Stoneridge Drive (south side) from Hopyard Road to Johnson Drive. <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for <br />acceptance.
