<br />set. <br /> <br />19, The applicant and future hometowns are encouraged to use best management practices <br />for the use of pesticides and herbicides similar to the integrated pest management pro- <br />gram used on the golf course, <br /> <br />20. The applicant shall provide construction dumpster(s) on-site during all phases ofthe con- <br />struction ofthe house covered by this approval. The applicant shall ensure that the con- <br />tractor( s) and subcontractor( s) deposit all construction refuse and debris in the dump- <br />ster(s) at the end of the day. <br /> <br />21. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />Green Building <br /> <br />22. The subject home shall achieve a "Green Home" rating as specified in Alameda County <br />waster Management Authority's "Single-Family Green Building Rating System," current <br />edition as the time of building permit submittal. A list of the green measures shall be <br />submitted in conjunction with the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and <br />shall be subject to the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of <br />building permit for the project. <br /> <br />23, The proposed green building checklist shall be shown on one ofthe first two pages of the <br />plans submitted for the issuance ofa building permit. The sheet number(s) where each <br />checklist item is addressed in the plan set shall be noted on the checklist, All proposed <br />green-building measures shall be shown throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as deter- <br />mined by the planning and the Chief Building Official. <br /> <br />24. The Building and Safety Division may require special inspections for the green building <br />measures proposed. If required, the applicant shall provide verification to the Planning <br />Department clearly stating that the Building and Safety Division has approved all appli- <br />cable special inspections relating to green building measures, Said verification shall be <br />provided prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br />25. Prior to submittal to the Building Department, the applicant must provide a copy of the <br />contractor's agreement that stipulates that the contractor will use only Low- VOC interior <br />paints and low-VOC water-based finishes in construction of this residence. <br /> <br />26. Prior to building final inspection, the contractor shall provide diversion tickets to the <br />Planning Department for review and approval by the Green Building Coordinator. <br /> <br />SR:06:271 <br />Page 16 <br />
