b® <br /> <br />Consideration for such support shall be limited to <br />the inclusion of the business's/individual's name in <br />any promotional/publicity materials that may <br />accompany the program, i.e., flyers, press releases, <br />PSA's, programs, public announcements, etc. No <br />other rights, privileges or services shall be <br />conferred or implied by the Department upon the <br />donor. Department staff shall develop clear <br />guidelines regarding the degree of prominence that <br />the donor's name/logo shall enjoy in promotional <br />materials. The level of prominence should relate to <br />the level of funding received. <br /> <br />The sale of advertising space in flyers, programs and <br />other printed materials is permitted so long as such <br />sales realize sufficient funds to cover the additional <br />printing, staff time and overhead required. Such <br />advertising should result in a net surplus of funds which <br />can be used to support the program. <br /> <br />Department staff shall constantly be sensitive to the <br />funding needs and strategies of the community's nonprofit <br />agencies. All grant applications and requests for <br />funding from the Department should be considered in light <br />of the possible impact such requests might have on <br />members of the nonprofit community. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />Grant applications shall be approved by the Director of <br />the Department and by either the Human Services <br />Commission or the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
