CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-146 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A COUNTY-WIDE BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN <br />ADVISORY BOARD TO ~RPRESENT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON IN <br />LIEU OF THE CITY'S OWN BICYCLE COMMITTEE <br /> the Transportation Development Act of 1971 provides for <br /> the disbursement of funds from Local Transportation Fund <br /> to the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants <br /> for the purpose of constructing pedestrian and/or bicycle <br /> path projects; and <br /> State Transportation Control Measure No. 9 requires <br /> cities and counties to have bicycle advisory committees <br /> and adopted comprehensive bicycle plans to be eligible <br /> for the TDA Article 3 funding, beginning with the FY <br /> 1993-94 funding cycle; and <br /> the Alameda County Transportation Advisory Committee on <br /> which Pleasanton is represented recommends, in lieu of <br /> each city appointing its own Bicycle Advisory Comittee, <br /> the creation of a Countywide Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory <br /> Committee composed of the following representatives: <br /> <br />Jurisdiction <br />Alameda County <br />Alameda <br />Albany <br />Berkeley <br />Dublin <br />Emeryville <br />Fremont <br />Hayward <br />Livermore <br />Newark <br />Oakland <br />Piedmont <br />Pleasanton <br /> San Leandro <br />Union City <br /> East Bay <br /> Bicycle Coalition <br /> <br />Representative <br />* <br />Dennis Stone <br />Diane Uetrecht <br />Hank Resnik <br />Charles R.
