<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S <br />APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF PETER SHUTTS, ON BEHALF OF <br />STAN AND STACEY KNIGHT, FOR ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PADR-1472 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peter Shutts, on behalf of Stan and Stacey Knight, has applied for <br />administrative design review approval to construct: (1) an approximately <br />l80-square-foot covered patio; (2) an approximately 292-square-foot first-floor <br />addition on the rear; and (3) an approximately 1 ,251-square- foot second-story <br />addition over part of the center and side portions of the existing residence <br />located at 779 Mirador Court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-I-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Steve and Carol <br />Stanton submitted an appeal (Case PAP-93) of the Zoning Administrator's <br />approval to the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meetings of June 14,2006 and June 28, 2006, the Planning Commission, <br />after having considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of City staff concerning this application, approved the appeal, <br />thereby revehing the Zoning Administrator's approval, without prejudice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the applicants <br />submitted an appeal (Case PAP-95) of the Planning Commission's decision to <br />the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 7,2006, the City Council received a report from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development, together with a copy of the <br />staff report to the Planning Commission, regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on November 7, 2006, at which time the <br />applicants and any other member of the public were offered an opportunity to <br />present evidence regarding this appeal; and <br />
