Plan Checking (2nd paragraph)
Non-residential buildings require payment
of an added plan checking surcharge to
assess compliance with State of
California Non-residential Energy
Standards. The surcharge shall be equal
to 25% of building permit fee on all
permits for non-residential occupancies
applied for after April 15, 1992.

Ail plans checked by the City of
Pleasanton Building Department, except
detached single family dwellings must
comply with the State of California Title
24 Disabled Persons Access Law. A
surcharge of 15% of the cost of the
building permit on all covered buildings
will be assessed for the plan check and
subsequent field inspection.

Plans submitted to the Building
Department are assumed to be complete and
ready for construction. In some cases
designers submit plans in various stages
of completeness and hence a plan
correction list ensues. In all cases the
initial plan review fee covers the cost
for the first plan review and the initial
response to the first correction and
subsequent plan check. Ail plan check
correction list after the first and all
newly revised resubmitted plans are paid
for on a time and material basis.

Administrative Charge for Plan Change
Requests: A charge of $20.00 per lot
shall be assessed for administrative
costs associated with plan change
requests after issuance of building
permits. Said costs covered by this
charge include, but are limited to,
rechecking of plot plans, refiguring of
applicable fees, extra application forms,
and processing time of city personnel.

Section IV.B.4. Surcharge:

25% of building permit fee on all permits for
residential occupancies applied for after
7/01/92.

3
