CONCLUSION <br /> <br />Thc proposal will creatc a development consisting of eight custom homes on large lots sur- <br />rounded by 22 acres of permanent open space area, with thc opcn spacc area transferred to City <br />owncrship as permancnt opcn space, The proposed project is designed in a manner that is sensi- <br />tive and compatible with the site and ncarby dcvclopments, Large, unobstructed view sheds of <br />the Plcasanton Ridge are prescrvcd and, by maintaining the present cattle grazing taking place <br />on the site, will prcserve the site's history as part of thc former Meadowlark Dairy, The pro- <br />posed projcct implements the applicable policies and standards of the Pleasanton General Plan <br />pertaining to hillside development and thc West Foothill Road Corridor Overlay District.
