'13.4 ~ury Leave <br /> <br />13.5 <br /> <br />13,6 <br /> <br />13.7 <br /> <br />Every employee of the City who is called or required to serve as a <br />juror shall be entitled to leave from his/her duties with the City <br />during the period of such service or while necessarily being <br />present in court as a result of such call. The employee shall be <br />paid the difference between his/her full salary and any payment <br />received by him/her, except travel pay, for such duty. <br /> <br />Leaves Resultinq from Subpoena <br /> <br />Leave of absence with pay shall be granted to a person while going <br />to and from court and answering a subpoena as a witness. The <br />employee shall be paid the difference between his/her full salary <br />and any payment received by him/her, except travel pay, for such <br />duty. <br /> <br />M~litar¥ Leave <br /> <br />Military leave shall be granted in accordance with the provisions <br />of the law. Ail employees entitled to military leave shall give <br />the Appointing Authority an opportunity within the limits of <br />military regulations to determine when such leave shall be taken. <br /> <br />F&ilure to Return from Leave <br /> <br />Failure on the part of the employee on leave to report to duty <br />promptly upon its expiration or within a reasonable time after its <br />expiration shall be cause for discipline. <br /> <br />Section 14 Hemlth and Welfare <br /> <br />14.1 <br /> <br />Hospital and Medical Care - Active Employees <br /> <br />Effective May 1, 1992, the City shall contribute an amount <br />necessary to provide hospital and medical care benefits under <br />either the present Blue Cross Plan, Kaiser S-1 Plan or, Foundation <br />Health Plan I for the individual employee and a portion of the <br />amount necessary to provide coverage for eligible dependents; <br />provided, however, in no event shall the City be obligated to <br />contribute a monthly amount in excess of the monthly premium for <br />the Kaiser S-1 Health Plan full family coverage. <br /> <br />For the purpose of providing aforesaid health care coverage to <br />eligible regular part-time employees including job share employees <br />who average between twenty (20) and twenty-nine (29) hours per <br />week, the City shall contribute an amount not to exceed fifty <br />percent (50%) of the City's monthly contribution established for <br />full time employees as set forth in the paragraph above. For <br />regular part-time employees including job share employees who <br />average between thirty (30) and thirty-nine (39) hours per week, <br />the City shall contribute an amount not to exceed seventy-five <br />percent (75%) of the City's monthly contribution above. <br /> <br />- 17 - <br /> <br /> <br />
