If spilled, these substances could pose a risk to the en- vironment and to human health. In the event of a spill, the Livermore-P1easanton Fire Depart- ment is responsible for responding to non-emergency hazardous materials reports. The use, han- dling, and storage of hazardous materials is highly regulated by both the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Fed/OSHA) and the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (CaI/OSHA). The City has in place an Emergency Response Plan to meet the needs should a spills or a hazardous event take place. Routine transport, use and disposal of hazardous materials are already regulated by federal, state and local regulations. This project will require disclosure of any hazardous materials, the amounts anticipated and where those ma- terials will be stored or used. Therefore, this would be a less-than-signijicant-impact.
