Ponderosa Homes - Lehman/Selway Property - Environmental Checklist

Less Than
Potentially Significant Less Than
Significant With Mitigation Significant No
Issues (Continued) Impact Incorporated Impact Impact
C) Have a substantial adverse effect on federally pro- D D D [K]
tected wetlands as defined by Section 404 of the Clean
Water Act (including, but not limited to, marsh, vemal
pool, coastal, etc.) through direct removal, filling, hy-
drological interruption, or other means?
d) Interfere substantially with the movement of any na- D D D [K]
tive resident or migratory fish or wildlife species or
with established native resident or migratory wildlife
corridors, or impede the use of native wildlife nursery
sites?
e) Conflict with any local policies or ordinances protect- 0 0 [KJ 0
ing biological resources, such as a tree preservation
policy or ordinance?
t) Conflict with the provisions of an adopted Habitat 0 0 0 [i]
Conservation Plan, Natural Community Conservation
Plan, or other approved local, regional, or state habitat
conservation plan?
Discussion

a-d) The subject property is fairly level, and dominated by native grasses vegetation, remnant walnut
trees of the former orchard, and domestic tree foupings near the existing houses. Based on the
site survey conducted by Live Oak Associates , there are no known endangered, threatened, or
rare species of flora or fauna known to inhabit the project site, nor is the site considered to be
habitat area for said species. Therefore, this would be a less-than-significant-impact.

e) Pursuant to the Tree Preservation Ordinance, a tree survey and analysis for this project site has
been prepared by HortScience, Inc. The report concluded three existing trees warranted saving.
As proposed and conditioned with the PUD approval, these trees will be preserved and incorpo-
rated in the rear yards of the proposed development. Therefore, this would be a less-than-
significant-impact.

t) There is no adopted Habitat Conservation Plan, Natural Community Conservation Plan or other
approved local, regional or state habitat conservation plan and this is not applicable to this pro-
ject. Therefore, this would be no-impact.

PUD-50 and PTR-5572

June 7, 2006
