<br />ATTACHMENT 5 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF PONDEROSA HOMES FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-50 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 19, 2006, the City Council received a proposed <br />Negative Declaration for the application ofPonderosa Homes for PUD <br />development plan to subdivide an approximately 19.83-acre site into 27 lots <br />and to construct 25 new, one- and two-story single-family detached homes <br />ranging in size from 3,908 square feet to 4,595 square feet, at the properties <br />located at 3157 Trenery Drive and 2313 Martin Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June 7, <br />2006 and received the recommendations of staff and the Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 19, 2006, at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental <br />impacts ofthe proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
