<br />Ms, Stanton suggested shrubbery be planted instead of a wood fence, <br /> <br />Mr, Rhoades mentioned he planted two evergreen trees and could plant two more that <br />would block the view into the Stanton's rear yard area. <br /> <br />Ms, Stanton mentioned that she has concerns about root invasion by trees, <br /> <br />Ms. Decker stated certain trees and drip systems could alleviate that concern, <br /> <br />Ms. Stanton asked if issues regarding water runoff have been considered. <br /> <br />Ms, Decker answered that there would be no additional impact with storm water run off. <br /> <br />Ms. Stanton asked how fast the trees grow, <br /> <br />Mr. Rhoades replied he thought three to four feet a year, He would plant more mature <br />trees, <br /> <br />Ms. Stanton mentioned her concerns regarding the lights on the balcony being left on and <br />the radius the light would shine, <br /> <br />Ms, Mendez answered that the conditions of approval prohibit any uplighting or that the <br />light glares on surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Ms, Stanton asked about the eolor scheme of the house and the completion date of <br />construction. She also stated her concern about construction noise being amplified. <br /> <br />Mr. Rhoades replied the color would be similar to what is there and the construetion would <br />take approximately six months, He did not know how loud the construction noise would <br />be, <br /> <br />Ms, Decker explained that dual pane windows reduce the noise decibels, She stated the <br />standard hours of construction are Monday through Saturday and if that were to be <br />amended to Monday through Friday then it would elongate the total construction time, <br /> <br />Ms, Mendez explained that the floor area ratio includes all enclosed space on the lot, but <br />does not include basement space used for storage purposes only or garage space, <br /> <br />Ms, Stanton stated another concern was the resale of her house could be impacted because <br />of the lack of openness. <br /> <br />Ms. Decker asked Mr, Rhoades ifhe would consider moving the balcony over the double <br />doors, <br /> <br />Mr. Rhoades replied that after the numerous changes made to these plans he believes the <br />planting of shrubs would take care of the problem. <br />
