MINUTES
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
Pleasanton, California

EXHIBIT F

Small Conference Room
200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton
Thursday, June 22, 2006

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 4:00p.m, by Donna Decker, Zoning Administrator.

Present:

Donna Decker, Zoning Administrator; Leslie Mendez, Assistant Planner;
. Robert Sweeney, Applicant/Contractor; Mr, and Mrs. Rhoades, Subject Site
Property Owners; and Carol Stanton, neighbor,

PADR-1542
Application for administrative design review to construct an approximately
1,224-square-foot second-floor addition and an approximately 120-square-foot
first-floor addition to the front of the existing residence located at 3227 Anastacia
Court.

Ms, Decker explained the reason for the continuance was to give the neighbors an
opportunity to see the plans and to provide Ms, Decker and Ms. Mendez a chance to
visit the project site and Stanton's residence,

The public hearing was opened.

Ms. Decker stated the Stanton's had concerns regarding the aecuracy of the plans, the
height of the structure, particularly the balcony and would appreciate some screening,
perhaps some trees, but not so thiek as to be a wall. They also commented that the tenant's
privacy could be compromised by the neighbors looking into their yard. Currently the
Rhoades can look in the Stanton's courtyard, Ms, Decker mentioned the current fence is 5
feet 3 inches high,

Ms. Decker explained the planning department looks at the where windows are placed and
the privacy impacts,

Carol Stanton clarified that the design was attractive, but did not fit in with the style of the
development, which seemed to be more of a ranch style, She mentioned that the original
homes did not have balconies and that this balcony would give a line of sight directly into
her home, She also mentioned that she thought the windows were oversized which would
directly impact that area again.

Jim Rhoades stated that he can see into the Stanton's home now and that the second-story
addition would not make a difference.
