Resolution No. 99-109 <br />Page Two <br /> <br /> "Shall the CAPP Initiative be adopted to amend the General Plan to require voter <br /> approval for development projects involving 10 or more residential units or that <br /> have commercial or office buildings that exceed 55 feet in height, and other <br /> matters as outlined in the Initiative?" <br /> <br /> Yes <br /> <br /> No <br /> <br />Section 3: Submission of Ballot Arguments and Impartial Analysis: <br /> <br /> a. The last day for submission of direct arguments for or against the measure <br /> shall be 5:00 p.m. on August 13, 1999. <br /> <br /> b. The last day for submission of rebuttal arguments for and against the <br /> measure shall be 5:00 p.m. on August 20, 1999. <br /> <br /> c. Direct arguments shall not exceed 300 words and shall be signed by not <br /> more than five persons. <br /> <br /> d. Rebuttal arguments shall not exceed 250 words and shall be signed by not <br /> more than five persons; those persons may be different persons than the <br /> persons who signed the direct arguments. <br /> <br /> c. The City Attorney shall prepare by August 20, 1999 an impartial analysis of <br /> the measure showing the effect of the measure. <br /> <br />Section 4: Request to Order Election. The City Council hereby requests the Alameda County <br /> Board of Supervisors to order this election be conducted by Alameda County on <br /> November 2, 1999, in conjunction with the Pleasanton Unified School District <br /> election being held on that same date, with the actual costs for said special election <br /> to be bome by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 5: Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
