EXHIBIT A <br />REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC NOTICE <br />OF PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Planning and Land Use Matters <br />City of Pleasanton <br />August, 1991 <br />In addition to other applicable State and City notification <br />requirements, whenever a public hearing is scheduled for a <br />planning or land use matter listed below, public notice of the <br />hearing shall be given in the manner described below. <br />A. Planning and Land Use Matters. <br />This policy applies to hearings requiring notice for initial <br />project action, modification, revocation, reconsideration, and <br />appeal for the following planning and land use matters. <br />- General Plan Amendment <br />- Specific Plan <br />- Rezoning <br />- Tentative Subdivision Map (or other public hearing <br />required by Subdivision Map Act) <br />- Land Use permit <br />- Variance <br />- Design Review <br />- Minor Improvement Projects <br />B. Time for Notice. <br />Whenever formal public hearing notification is required, it <br />shall be given (mailed, delivered, published or posted) at least <br />10 days before the scheduled public hearing. Informal newspaper <br />notice of public hearing agenda items shall be published at least <br />3 days before the scheduled public hearing. <br />1 <br />
