<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT ON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-78 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH FINDINGS AND GRANTING <br />TENTATIVE CANCELLATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE <br />CONTRACT 1974-3 (BONDE RANCH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a request and petition for cancellation of Agricultural <br />Preserve Contract 1974-3 was filed with the City of <br />Pleasanton on behalf of the owner of the property, <br />described on Exhibit A attached hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property involved is all within the city limits of <br />the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was called and duly noticed for this <br />date, as provided under Government Code Section 51284; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City council has reviewed and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Bonde Ranch Project <br />which analyzed the environmental effects of the <br />proposed Bonde Ranch PUD residential project and the <br />loss of agricultural lands, which document is <br />incorporated herein by this reference, and that, <br />therefore, no additional environmental review is <br />required; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council makes the following findings: <br /> <br />1. By request and petition the owner of the property <br />requested cancellation of Agricultural Preserve <br />Contract 1974-3. This letter petition is <br />incorporated herein by reference as though fully <br />set forth. <br /> <br />2. The city Council has reviewed and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Bonde Ranch <br />Project, which analyzed the environmental effects <br />of the proposed Bonde Ranch PUD residential <br />project and loss of agricultural lands, and has <br />determined that the effects of the loss of such <br />lands was adequately addressed in said document, <br />which is incorporated herein by this reference, <br />and, therefore, no additional environmental review <br />is required. <br /> <br />3. The property involved is all within the city <br />limits of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />1 <br />
