<br />Staff requests that the City Council determine if it wishes to add this project as a priority to the <br />existing adopted Work Plan, thus directing staff to begin the process to amend the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code by initiating a study regarding the issues related to an expanded fire sprinkler <br />ordinance. Alternatively, the Council could decide to consider this project with other City <br />projects when it considers its 2007-2008 Work Plan and staff priorities. This matter is scheduled <br />for January 2007. <br /> <br />FlSCAL lMP ACT <br /> <br />There will be no significant fiscal impact as a result of this action. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDA TlON <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council determine if there is interest in adding the proposed <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code amendment for enhanced fire sprinkler requirements as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission to the FY 2005-2006 Work Plan and, if so, direct <br />staffto initiate a study regarding the issues.
