In the Livermore staff report, there is no discussion about the number of additional daily or annual plane flights anticipated over the Tri-Valley as a result of new hanger space at the airport. A copy of Livermore's staff report and agenda summary is attached for your information. As general background information, in the late 1990s Pleasanton formed an ad hoc airport advisory committee. As recommended by the committee, the City sponsored a detailed airport noise study and in 2003 generated recommendations it would like the Livermore Airport to incorporate. These recommendations were sent to the Livermore City Council on several occasions, including during the review of the recently proposed Airport Master Plan Update. A copy of the recommendations are attached for your information. The airport advisory committee disbanded after its recommendations were generated. Cc: Planning Commission Attachments: 1.
