Center WHEREAS, City is desirous of contracting with Contractor for the provision of certain services, a description of which are presented in Exhibit A, attached hereto; and WHEREAS, City is receiving funds pursuant to the Community Development Block Grant Program, funded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, Contractor is. willing and able to perform duties and render services which are determined by the City Council to be necessary or appropriate for the welfare of residents of City; and WHEREAS, City desires that such duties and services be provided by Contractor, ~nd Contractor agrees to perform such duties and render such services, as more particularly set forth below: NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HERESY ~,¢..fl~r.f,Y AGP~m~ as follows: 1. Attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part hereof, is a description of the duties a-~d services to be performed for City by Contractor, and Contractor agrees to comply with all provisions, to perform all work, and to provide all such duties and services set forth in Exhibit ~ in a professional and diligent manner. 2. City has allocatd the sum of $15,415 to be expended as described in this contract. Unless an amendment to this contract otherwise provides, that amount shall in no event be 'exceeded by Contractor, and City shall under no circumstances be required to pay in excess of that amount. Payment shall be made pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Sums not so pa~d shall be retained by City. 3.
