Approve the contract with Kimely-Horn & Associates for a cost not- <br />to-exceed $124,738 to provide engineering design services for the Old <br />Stanley Boulevard Improvement Project (CIP No. 055022). <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the subject contract. <br /> <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute amendments to <br />this consultant agreement for a contingency amount not-to-exceed <br />$12,000 for potential unforeseen revisions to the scope of services <br />related to this project. <br /> <br />City staff identified the need to contract with a civil engineering firm to <br />complete the design and preparation of construction documents for the <br />subject project. Kirnley-Horn & Associates will augment City <br />engineering staff by providing needed expertise and additional engineering <br />support for the design of Old Stanley Boulevard improvements from Santa <br />Rita Road to First Street. Improvements to Old Stanley Boulevard <br />generally consist of pavement rehabilitation and/or reconstruction of the <br />existing roadway section, installation of new concrete curb, sidewalks, <br />and a new street lighting system. The improvements, however, do not <br />include the undergrounding of existing overhead utilities. The anticipated <br />
